Redwoods Advance in the Land of Opportunity (Australia)

With lots of business and leisure trips, it has so far been an eventful year for everyone at Redwoods Advance Pte Ltd.

After the Indonesia and Kuala Lumpur visits recently, the Singapore Sales and Marketing Company was on Business trip to Australia (from June 16 to June 22, 2014) with the outstanding performers from the organization.

The seven-day, six-night learning trip to Sydney and Melbourne in Australia has been a memorable experience for all. The Redwoods Singapore team visited the Australian Headquarters, networked with business leaders and socialized with associates from the marketing offices, there.

During the trip, the Redwoods team visited the Opera House, Sydney Harbour and hit various popular destinations in Australia. Delegates even decided to self-cook one day and had a gala dinner in the group.

Redwoods Advance’ Games Day – time to let loose and break some ice

After the conference at Marriott Hotel on 1st of April and celebrations for past business achievements, the Sales and Marketing company Redwoods Advance Pte Ltd got off for some fun sports and games, the next day.

Like other corporate events and activities, the ‘Games Day’ on 2nd April 2014 was an opportunity for people at Redwoods to come/work together as a team.

For an action-packed day – Redwoods Advance members created 10 different teams and wore colorful dresses suited to themes.

People played several games (Dumb Charades, Ball Games etc.) in groups, cheered for different teams and had a ball. The winning teams had ‘reasons to smile’ with their well-earned prizes.

Redwoods Advance Singapore joined forces with WWF for the Earth Hour

On 29th March, 2014 – Redwoods Advance Pte Ltd joined forces with WWF for the worldwide movement for the planet.

Everyone can use one’s power to make ‘change’ a reality. The WWF ‘Earth Hour’ campaign was one such for Redwoods Advance team members to contribute to a social cause and show their commitment to the Planet.

To raise awareness and support the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) campaign – people congregated at the Marina Floating platform and vowed to switch off lights for 1 hour, from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

Spider-Man, the first superhero ambassador for the WWF campaign even joined forces for the Earth Hour. Special appearance and performances from the superhero 'Spiderman' were a few attractions of the Earth Hour 2014.

Together everyone can make a difference. Committed to different social causes, the Earth Hour event was an invigorating experience for the Redwoods Advance Singapore team.

On March 2014, the outstanding performers from Redwoods Singapore got the opportunity to join the Managing Director Adrian Chua for the Malaysia tour.

The Sales and Marketing company Redwoods Advance ensures – people stay motivated at work and the trip was one to reward workplace talents for their outstanding contributions to the company.

During the Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) trip from 24th to 26th March 2014, the Redwoods team members visited the Regional Headquarter, attended workshops and seminars, socialized and networked with the Malaysian team members.

People even stopped by at Vice President’s (James Greaves) house for delicious homemade dinner and ‘rich learning opportunities’. The Vice President shared his tips and experience with the Redwoods Advance team members.

Redwoods team even had a karaoke session during the leisure time, there.

The Sales and Marketing company - Redwoods Advance was on Rest and Relaxation trip at Turi Beach Resort, Batam Indonesia from 20th to 22nd February 2014.

Rising Stars from Redwoods Singapore got the opportunity for the trip as six outstanding individuals accompanied the Managing Director of the company – Adrian Chua to Turi Beach, Indonesia.

The beach trip was an unforgettable experience for all. The attendees even got to brush up knowledge and skills there through attending corporate training workshops and seminars.

Everyone had a fun time there – people networked and socialized with each other, played water polo, paintball games and enjoyed the gala dinner (white theme event).

Board Game enthusiasts or other, the Mind Café Singapore is one of the preferred destinations of people of all groups.

The Mind Café is an ideal meeting place for people who like to have board games over mouth-watering food, snacks and beverages.

On 13th February 2014, everyone from Redwoods Advance Pte Ltd Singapore decided for a team outing at the Mind Café - a place awarded with the widest range of board-games in Singapore.

Like other pleasure trips, the Mind Café visit was an ‘ice-breaker’ for people to have fun in different groups, with ‘clean games’.

If board game enthusiasts tried their hands at different games, then a few beginners got the opportunity to ‘pick up’ new games at the Mind Café.

After many single-and-multi-player board games, people even enjoyed lip-smacking dishes at the place over a few cups of drinks.

Chinese New Year Celebrations: Lion Dance Performance at Shaw Towers

Lion Dance - the traditional dance form is an 'integral event' during Chinese New Year celebrations and other festivities in Asian countries.

To worship the God of Good Luck and Prosperity, people wear Lion costumes and mimic movements of the Lion in different groups.

On the 8th day of the Chinese New Year festivities, everyone from Redwoods Advance got together at Shaw towers for the Lion Dance performance, so as to celebrate the New Year in a traditional manner.

The traditional dance performance included two-Lions and a Cai Shen, the Chinese God of wealth. Since, it is the New Year of the Horse, the Lion dance performers even went the extra miles with the idea of a HORSE 'shaped with mandarin oranges and pineapples'.

Redwoods Advance Singapore wishes everyone a FRUITFUL year, ahead.

After the Chinese New Year party at Shaw Towers on 30th January 2014, everyone from Redwoods Advance got-together the third-day of the New Year at Adrian Chua’s house - the Managing Director of the company, for extended celebrations.

The New Year party at Adrian’s house was pure fun. One of the colleagues prepared Yu Sheng and people had a ‘prosperity toss’, raised their glasses of champagne to greet each other for a prosperous New Year ahead.

Other than delicious New Year goodies, home-cooked food, people watched movies together, played several New Year games and had a fun time in the group.

2014 is the New Year of the Horse. With the hope of a happy and prosperous future ahead, Redwoods Advance Singapore surges ahead.

New Year is a time for get-togethers and parties - a moment to bid adieu to the last year and embrace the future.

To receive the Chinese New Year (Spring Festival) and for celebrations, the Singapore sales and marketing company – Redwoods Advance organized the New Year Party at the office, on 30th January 2014.

During the office New Year festivity - everyone mingled with each other in groups, played treasure hunt games. People even had the lantern making contest – everyone created colorful lanterns with recycled materials and adorned the office.

To worship the God of ‘good luck and prosperity’ people wore Lion costumes and performed the Lion Dance in small groups.

Everyone had a terrific time at office New Year celebrations. People greeted each other, enjoyed lip-smacking dishes and exchanged Red packets.

Post ‘Office Christmas Party’, everyone from Redwoods Advance Pte Ltd planned a day out for outdoor sports and activities.

There is nothing that a TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More) can not achieve. Redwoods Singapore believes: when everybody moves forward together in/as a team, then success takes care of itself.

The games day post ‘Christmas Party’ was an opportunity for everyone to come and play together and show one’s team-bonding skills.

The guys and gals played different games, hanged-out/had lunch together and had a merry time.

On Thursday 19th December 2013, everyone joined forces for the Redwoods Singapore Christmas party.

There is no Christmas without colourfully decorated Christmas tree, Santa Claus and gifts and lip-smacking recipes. To save the planet and for the community welfare - Redwoods Advance decided to have a green Christmas. People exchanged gifts wrapped in magazines and supported the WWF re-wrap project.

The managing director of the company - Adrian Chua addressed all and shared company goals and directions for the year ahead. New Year is yet another chance for everyone to get things right!

At evening, people set off for Sentosa, Mambo beach for the Christmas bash and had lots of fun in the group, played different games, had beverages and mouth-watering food. A few hit the jackpot and went home with their lucky draw prizes.
