Redwoods Advance in the Land of Opportunity (Australia)
With lots of business and leisure trips, it has so far been an eventful year for everyone at Redwoods Advance Pte Ltd.
After the Indonesia and Kuala Lumpur visits recently, the Singapore Sales and Marketing Company was on Business trip to Australia (from June 16 to June 22, 2014) with the outstanding performers from the organization.
The seven-day, six-night learning trip to Sydney and Melbourne in Australia has been a memorable experience for all. The Redwoods Singapore team visited the Australian Headquarters, networked with business leaders and socialized with associates from the marketing offices, there.
During the trip, the Redwoods team visited the Opera House, Sydney Harbour and hit various popular destinations in Australia. Delegates even decided to self-cook one day and had a gala dinner in the group.

Redwoods Advance' Sports Day at Bishan Stadium, Singapore
The Singapore Sales and Marketing Company – Redwoods Advance had its Annual Sports Day on Monday 2nd June 2014.
‘Redwoods Advance Pte Ltd’ decided for the - ‘multi-purpose’ Bishan stadium in Singapore, for corporate team building sports and fun-filled group activities.
Sports arena or a professional field - to win, one should work together and be a part of the team.
Redwoods Advance members wore yellow colored T shirts to represent their team, during the eventful day. Started off with the fun dance, people played different games and demonstrated their team bonding skills.
Tug-of-war, 4x100 m relay, 100 m and 400 m, fun races and cheerleading sessions were attractions of the day.
Everyone had a gala time at Bishan Stadium, Singapore during the Sports Day.

Redwoods Advance Singapore’ R&R Award Dinner and Asian Administrators Conference in Phuket Thailand
Life is a Journey – do not be a Tourist, be a Traveler.
For everyone who works for the Singapore Sales and Marketing Company – Redwoods Advance Pte Ltd, journeys and trips to distant lands are not a ‘new thing’.
Be it educational tours, adventure or sightseeing expeditions, road-trips to other Asian countries - Travel remains always on the cards for people at Redwoods Singapore.
Thailand Phuket was in the ‘travel list’ for the Redwoods Advance Singapore team from 20th to 24th May 2014. The reason was – R&R Award Dinner and Asian Administrators Conference.
As ever, the journey was a time to explore and experience different things in Thailand Phuket. Delegates from different countries got together at Le Meridien Hotel, Phuket for the business conference.
People networked and socialized with company representatives from different countries. To recognize and honor 'organizational talents' - Redwoods Advance Singapore even organized a black-tie themed dinner/cocktail party.
Amid lots of cheers and wishes, people enjoyed the ceremonial dinner and had a gala time.
During the spare time – everyone even went for a swim in the pool, tried spa treatment at the health resort and ‘let loose’ the purse strings for lots of shopping at the malls, there.

Redwoods Advance Singapore and the Cancer Society at 'Gift of Hope Carnival’ to make Cancer Victims - SMILE
Each year, most of Singaporeans die mainly due to the cancerous disease. Lung, Liver, Breast, Ovarian, Colorectal cancers are quite common amongst the citizens, here.
Cancer is a treatable disease. To live in the hope for a better future ahead, Cancer patients need love and support not only from their family but even from the community.
Actively involved in various social welfare activities, the Singapore Sales and Marketing Company – Redwoods Advance believes, people should TRY to give ‘something positive’ back to the society, where they live in as a family.
Together, everyone can make a difference AND the ‘Gift of Hope Carnival’ on 17th May 2014 was one such effort of Redwoods Singapore, in co-ordination with the Singapore Cancer Society, to bring ‘smiles on the faces’ of cancer patients and their family members.
To cheer cancer victims, Redwoods Advance Pte Ltd volunteers set up a ‘Ping Pong’ game booth at Vivo City, with lots of surprising prizes for the winners.
Cancer patients and their family had lots of fun at the booth; many even grabbed prizes at the stall.
Like the Christmas Carnival (charity event) in association with the Singapore Cancer Society, the ‘Gift of Hope Carnival’ was yet another productive day for the Redwoods Advance team mates.
The funds generated through the campaign ‘will be used’ for the welfare of cancer patients in the society.

Redwoods Advance at the Tanglin Trust School for WWF Outreach Program
Youngsters are the most discerning audience - AND the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) school outreach programs are one to encourage youngsters to join the movement to save the Planet.
The International Non-Governmental organization (WWF) works on matters concerning wildlife protection and environmental surroundings. The Singapore Sales and Marketing Company - Redwoods Advance Pte Ltd works in collaboration with the WWF to promote different programs and to spread the message of ‘Save the Planet’, across the globe.
On 8th May 2014, the Redwoods Advance Singapore team visited the Tanglin Trust School, to attend the WWF School Outreach Program.
Through the school outreach program, Redwoods and WWF made efforts to educate youngsters on the need to conserve wildlife and nature for human survival and existence.
Redwoods Advance informed students on wildlife statistics and alerted them of climate change and consequences of environmental problems. The students at the school vowed to protect the Earth by saving forests, seas, tiger and other wild animals in their natural habitat.
Let us build a future, where human beings live in harmony with nature.

Redwoods Advance at the ‘365 Cancer Prevention Society’ Love Lunch Event
Cancer is one of the most dreaded diseases, the majority of people across the world face today. Committed to different social welfare activities, the Singapore Sales and Marketing Company – Redwoods Advance Pte Ltd took an initiative with the ‘365 Cancer Prevention Society’ to help and support the cancer patients in the community.
The patients who live in the shadow of cancer hope for a better future, ahead. The campaign of Redwoods Advance was one to tell the cancer patients that they are not alone in the battle against the dreaded cancerous disease.
Cancer is a treatable disease and the victims need care and support from their family and community. The 365 Cancer Prevention Love Lunch (on 26th April, 2014) was one such event to encourage and support cancer patients and spread the message to the society.
During the Love Lunch (organized by 365 Cancer Prevention Society – a Non-profit Organization) charitable event, Redwoods Advance team interacted with cancer patients, attended health/nutrition programs and spread the message of ‘healthy eating habits and healthy lifestyle’, undertook food therapy training and tried different detox exercises for ‘good health and fitness’.
